Tax Credits

Donations to the Cambridge PPC Association are received by an authorized financial agent who is appointed by a registered association as defined in the Canada Elections Act . The financial agent’s name is recorded in the registry of electoral district associations maintained by the Chief Electoral Officer and is available on Elections Canada site.

Alternatively, you can email to this address and somebody from EDA Board will come to pick up your check. We can not accept contributions in cash over $20.


Federal income tax credits are available for all qualified contributions.

To claim these amounts, save all official tax donation receipts. Then, enter the entire amount of your donation on line 409 of Schedule 1. Use the Federal Worksheet to calculate your tax credit, and use this calculated amount to claim your credit on line 410 of Schedule 1.


Tax Receipts


An income-tax receipt will be issued for all contributions of $20 or more.

Please be advised that Elections Canada does not allow tax receipts to be issued in any other name other than that of the contributor. The contributor is considered to be the holder of the credit card or signatory on the cheque.


Tax receipts are issued by the Cambridge - PPC Association at the end of year.  If you misplace your tax receipt, please email [email protected] and a duplicate will be issued.


The Cambridge - PPC Association accepts contributions only from individual Canadian citizens or permanent residents to a maximum of $1,600.00 for the 2019.

Cash Contributions in excess of $20 will not be accepted. Contributions from corporations, labour unions and unincorporated associations are prohibited. Please note that Canadian citizens and permanent residents may donate a separate amount up to $1,600.00 to the People's Party of Canada.
